Friends of the Library of Windham (F.L.O.W.) is a non-profit corporation made up of volunteers dedicated to encouraging greater use of the Nesmith Library and its many services. “The purpose is to promote interest in and welfare of the Windham Public Library as a cultural and educational study/research center.”

The Strawberry Festival and Book Fair has become an annual community event with food, games, entertainment, raffles, informational booths, and even a dunk tank. The day coincided with Nutfield’s 300th Anniversary of the First Settlers who arrived in the Nutfield Grant and established the community that eventually became the towns of Derry, Londonderry, and Windham, and the Derryfield neighborhood of Manchester. It was estimated that over 3,000 people attended the festivities.
